A Message from Our President

Greetings on behalf of the Southwest Dallas County Alumnae Chapter (SWDCA); it is my pleasure as the 5th President to welcome you to our virtual home. Chartered April 30, 2004, SWDCA has pursued excellence in the areas of Service, Scholarship, and Sisterhood. We are proud of our rich legacy and remain committed to using our collective talents, resources, and programming to serve the Best Southwest communities.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world, has a membership of more than 200,000 women in the United States and abroad dedicated to public service through our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust. During the 2020-2022 biennial, our chapter’s programming theme is to RISE UP! Our communities now more than ever, need SWDCA to RISE UP in service, scholarship & educational opportunities for youth, remain committed to leave our mark on society and not let injustices remain unaddressed. Let us RISE together! There exist limitless opportunities for SWDCA, as we continue to expand our reach through service.
